EARTH OVEN PROJECT

EARTH OVEN COOKING EXPERIENCES COMING SOON - See video  here

We now have our very own Earth Bread Oven at the Cookery School built by fantastic group of adults and children under the expert guidance of Danny Shmulevitch..

The building of an Earth Oven really does highlight the interconnection between earth, sun and food. The setting at Harts Barn was chosen for its close connection with the environment and food. The Centre embraces sustainable energy and the whole site is run on a bio-mass heating system run from coppiced timber from the farm at Harts Barn. It has been awarded the Forester Green Business of the Year 2011 and has a bio-dynamic garden in its second year of production.

About Danny Shmulevitch For over 25 years, Danny has been working closely with the indigenous Bedouin of the Sinai Desert – inhabitants of a land of wild beauty. He has been guided and influenced by the Elders, who represent years of collective wisdom, providing insight into this pathway of education that can show children how to become aware of the four elements in our staple diet. Danny is the now the founder and facilitator of the The Earth Bread Oven Project and lives in May Hill, Gloucestershire.

We will be offering  EARTH OVEN cooking experiences in the near future....and are very happy to welcome coumminty or school groups that would like to experience cooking on the Earth Oven.
