WHAT WE INCLUDE IN YOUR CLASS AND PARTY:
We provide utensils, knives, equipment and aprons for all classes and parties.
All ingredients are included unless otherwise stated.
Some meals are provided as part of the class or party cost. Please see appropriate class details for further information.
Class content may vary at our discretion and descriptions are a guide only.
As parties are dealt with on an individual basis your requirements will be discussed.
LEVEL OF SKILL:
We cannot assess your level of skill.
Specialist classes will be provided and these will give an indication of skills required.
However if you phone us we will be able to talk through with you any uncertainties or queries you have before booking.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
We ask you to wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. You will not be admitted to the cookery school without appropriate footwear.
Please wear comfortable, sensible clothing as we will not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing.
We are happy for parties to be themed and appropriate party wear worn. Please discuss with us if you have a particular requirement.
If you have Long hair please bring hair bands to tie it back.
We will give a short briefing on health and safety before the class starts.
SPECIAL DIETRY FOOD REQUIREMENTS, ALLERGIES AND ILLNESS:
We cannot guarantee any protection from allergies.
Some classes will be tailor made to specific dietary requirements.
We will be happy to discuss any concerns you have before you book on a class or a party so you can make an informed decision whether to attend at your own risk.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy, learning difficulties etc.
All payments, for a class, should be made in full at the time of booking any Class unless otherwise agreed.
We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a class until we receive full payment.

If you have been given a Gift Voucher please email us or call us to make your booking.

To book and confirm your party date we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
The balance can be paid before or during the party.
Bookings can be made by BACs, cheque or we have a Paypal account where you can pay by Credit or debit card.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations by Harts Barn Cookery School:
We reserve the right to make alterations to class fees and dates at any time after going to print.
You will be advised by email 48hrs before the class is due to commence of any cancellation/postponement.
If you require additional confirmation we advise you to ring or email 48hrs before the class due date.
In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement by our Cookery school, we will undertake to provide a suitable alternative to your booked class within a reasonable period of time.
If this is not possible, and it is not possible for a claim to be made for insurance, we will undertake to make an immediate full refund for class fees. We will not refund any other costs you may have incurred in advance, such as travel and accommodation.
Cancellation by You:
This cancellation policy applies to all our Class and Party bookings.
Up to 5 days of the start of your class you may request a change of class dates and we will happily transfer you to another date, or class subject to availability.
You may also request a refund up to 5 days of the start of the class you have booked. Please note there is an administration and handling charge of £15 for processing customer refunds.
Cancellations made within the 5 day period are not eligible for a refund.
If you are unable to attend the class during this time then we are happy for you to send someone in your place.
We recommend that you take out an insurance policy to cover you for your loss.
50% of the confirmation fee is non-refundable within the 5 day period.
Up to 21 days of the start of your party date you may request a change of date and we will happily transfer you to another date, if that date is available.
