Fermenting foods is an ancient tradition practised by cultures around the world to preserve food. Fermentation has recently come into the limelight for the numerous health benefits derived from eating cultured food as well as the delicious depth of flavour that is achieved.
In this hands on course, we will equip you with the knowledge on how to start your fermentation journey using basic ingredients and simple equipment in the comfort of your own home. There will also be tips on how to enjoy your fermented creations.
We will explore the processes of making:
Yogurt with dairy and plant based milks.
There will be plenty of tasting and a jar or two to take home.
