Gluten Free Baking Day

Going gluten free does not mean that you have to give up your favourite baked items and sweet treats, it just means you have to make them a bit differently!
This class will break down the science behind gluten free baking, overview an assortment of gluten free flours and show you how to create your own gluten free flour blends. We will have you creating tasty treats such as pastry, moist cakes, delicious muffins, and mouth watering biscuits.
A gluten free two course lunch of items created during the course accompanied by a plenty of tasting along the way and a few items to take home. Please note that the ingredients on this course are gluten free but the kitchen is not dedicated gluten free.

Gluten Free Bread
Banana sultana muffins
Polenta, orange and almond cake
Moist chocolate cake with ganache
Pastry for sweet or savoury treats
Socca – chickpea pizza base
Tea and Coffee available throughout.
