Christmas Greetings

I am sitting in the warm watching icicles form on a frosty window with deep snow outside.

All is looking very Christmassy even though we have two weeks to go before the big event.

What does Christmas mean to you?

I enjoy the tinsel, red berries on the holly, robin red breast, ice, good food but more importantly the season of good will to all men.

As we enter the new year with an uncertain economic climate and fears for world safety we can all do our best to offer good will to all throughout the year.

I am very proud of the good will and cheer we have provided through 2017 to our customers who have stirred, baked and eaten great food at the cookery school this year. Many skills have been learnt, many plates of food have been eaten, many smiles have been made and many bottles of beer have been drunk!

I will enter 2018 excited about new projects we are developing and more opportunities to continue creating great food, to educate and to eat, drink and be merry.

My mother-in-law Angela always made a ‘no-bake’ chocolate Yule log for us to enjoy at Christmas. I have included this recipe for you all to make and enjoy together this Christmas.

Merry Christmas

Yvette
