When planning the hen party I had no idea what to do, then the bride said one she had been to before of a cooking thing, with a little investigation I found the lovely Harts Barn Cookery School. Got in touch via email, gave all my concerns since I have a bride intolerant to most things going so wasn’t sure if it could be incorporated. Turns out you can still do a bake off style night free from most things and it’s sill tasty!
I got there on the night quickly Slytherin and the team were really happy to help with all the little quirks I wanted to add and even helped with the bingo game.

Age Group 5yrs +

Bling Cupcakes

They will make simple decorations and then decorate 4 cupcakes with their decorations and a selection of sprinkles and sparkles. They will take home 4 cupcakes in a presentation box. If your child likes butterflies, flowers or some other we can change to this theme. £22 per child

Pizza making

Making and decorating pizzas and homemade popcorn (toffee and chocolate). The pizza becomes part of their party food. £22 per child

Sweet making

Making chocolate jazzies, sugar mice (we have a naming ceremony) and toffee/chocolate popcorn. They will take home their sweeties in a presentation bag. £22 per child

Design your waffle

Make waffle batter, cook your waffle, and then decorate with an assortment of sprinkles and drizzles. Eat one with your party food and take one home for later. £22 per child

Age Group 7yrs +

Easy Chocolate Making

Melting chocolate, making truffles, and making finished chocolates with sprinkles. They will take home their chocolate in a presentation box. £22 per child

Pasta Making

Each child will make their own pasta dough and then roll through a pasta machine. They will then make tagliatelle and other shapes. They will take their pasta home with them. £22 per child

Easy Sushi

Children will make simple sushi using fresh vegetables, smoked fish, sushi rice and Nori. Some sushi will form part of their party food the rest will be taken home in boxes. £26 per child

Bake & decorate

They will bake their cakes and make simple decorations to decorate 4 cupcakes. They will take home 4 cupcakes in a presentation box. If your child likes butterflies, flowers or some other we can change to this theme. This option is 2.5hrs in duration and costs £26 per child.

Design & Bake Brownies & Blondies

You will design a brownie or blondie could Oreo or Maltesers or smarties. Bake as a tray bake. Take hone with you after the party. This option is 2.5hrs in duration and costs £26 per child.

Afternoon Tea

Make a selection of cakes, bakes, and sandwiches for your Afternoon Tea. This option is 2.5hrs in duration and costs £26 per child.
